Hobby Night in Canada is Live, Coast-to-Coast

Episode 1 of our new podcast — Hobby Night in Canada — is now live!

No doot aboot where we come from.

No doot aboot where we come from, eh?

Don’t be fooled by the date, I assure you this is a real thing we’ve been working on for the last little while. Tom Carter and Steve Lind (from Out of the Basement Gaming), along with Ward Kapach (Brushes and Battlefields blogger, and host of Edmonton Onslaught events) and myself, are the regulars on this new show, which covers all aspects of our gaming hobby. Joining us for future episodes will be Mike Sawada, one of the most prolific hobbyists you will ever meet (he’s also a pretty awesome guy, but don’t tell him I said something nice). From new releases and tactics to hobby tips and tournament organization, we’ve got it covered.

I mostly play X-wing and collect my Horus Heresy era 40k armies, but collectively we all play Firestorm Armada, Dystopian Wars, Warmachine, Malifaux, Dropzone Commander, and countless other miniature and board games. Let’s not forget ye olde Warhammer and 40k, either.

While we are putting the finishing touches on our website, please give us a listen via the fancy embedded media player above, and like us on Facebook.

Thanks for listening, and we hope to see you in a few days for Episode 2!

You guys should have just called the podcast “The Cohosts” 🙂

    • It’s not easy keeping something on the DL when you’re pretty excited about it. Looking forward to getting things 100% up and running in the next few days!

  2. Regarding Escalation. What are everyone’s thoughts on this?
    1. A sidebar of Stronghold-only items.
    2. TO-provided Stronghold items (not necessarily the real ones) for non-Lords of War players to choose from

  3. Things I require more of in my life:
    1. Cowbell
    2. Tom Carter
    3. Sleep

One for three isn’t terrible. I’ll take what I can get! Keep up the good work boys.
